Mikko Rantanen and Andrew Cogliano scored 11 seconds apart in the third period, four teammates also scored, and the visiting Colorado Avalanche rallied from three goals down to beat the Dallas Stars 6-3 on Saturday night.

Valeri Nichushkin and Ross Colton had a goal and an assist each, Ryan Johansen and Miles Wood also scored and Cale Makar had three assists for the Avalanche. Alexandar Georgiev turned away 25 shots.

Tyler Seguin scored twice and Joe Pavelski had a goal as Dallas built a 3-0 lead, only to see Colorado six unanswered goals. Mason Marchment added two assists and Jake Oettinger made 32 saves for Dallas.

It was tied late into the third period when Colorado struck twice. Nichushkin sent a blind pass to Rantanen, who roofed a backhander to make it 4-3 at 14:32. It was his 11th of the season.

Moments later, Cogliano tapped in a puck that was sitting in the crease to make it a two-goal lead at 14:43. It was his second of the season.

Colton added an empty-net goal at 19:30, his sixth of the season.

Seguin got the Stars on the board when he beat Georgiev high from the right circle at 10:33 of the first, and Pavelski made it 2-0 with a power-play goal at 14:21. It was his seventh of the season.

Dallas went ahead 3-0 early in the second period when Seguin cleaned up Marchment's rebound at 2:12. It was his fifth of the season.

The Avalanche got going later in the second. Colton hit Wood with a pass as he skated through the neutral zone. He came in on Oettinger, and his slow shot went through the pads at 13:27. It was his third of the season.

Colorado went on the power play later in the second and Makar sent a shot to the net that Johansen deflected past Oettinger at 17:09. It was his sixth of the season.

The Avalanche made it all the way back in the third when Caleb Jones sent a pass to the front of the net that Marchment tried to clear, but Nichushkin flicked it in at 4:19. It was his sixth of the season.
